Advertising Policy

This policy explains how advertising and paid placements work on Acadanex and how they are kept strictly separate from editorial content.

What we sell

• Featured listings — optional paid visibility with a clear “Featured” label.
• Sponsored listings — optional paid visibility with a clear “Sponsored” label.
• Direct advertising — clearly-labelled banner/creative placements on the homepage, category pages, and tool pages, identified as “Advertisement”.

Normal tool submissions are free and always go through the same editorial review as any other listing. Nothing on Acadanex requires payment to be listed, reviewed, or ranked.

Labelling

Every paid placement and advertisement is explicitly labelled (“Featured”, “Sponsored”, or “Advertisement”) so that readers can always tell commercial content apart from editorial recommendations. Advertisements never imitate editorial content, navigation, or site controls.

Editorial independence

• Payment does not influence editorial scores, review content, factual descriptions, or organic ordering of listings.
• A paid placement does not guarantee editorial approval, inclusion, or a positive review.
• Affiliate relationships and advertising payments never change review outcomes. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy.

What we accept and reject

We reserve the right to decline any advertisement or paid placement that is deceptive, illegal, unsafe, or inconsistent with the purpose of the directory. All advertising destinations must be valid HTTPS URLs; unsafe protocols (such as javascript:, data:, or blob:) are never accepted. We do not run advertisements that impersonate site content or mislead readers about their destination.

Data and measurement

Ad impressions and clicks are counted anonymously. We do not sell personal data, and we do not publish revenue figures that are not verified from an actual payment or advertising platform.
